Once you place an order online, it is classed as an offer. By proceeding through the ‘checkout process’ you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by Jonathan Broomfield, will result in a binding contract.

Your completion of the checkout process does not, however, constitute Jonathan Broomfield's acceptance of your order. Payment will be taken from your debit/credit card and a confirmation of receipt of your order will be emailed to you. Acceptance of your order and the formation of a contract between you and Jonathan Broomfield will take place on receipt of your confirmation. Unless Jonathan Broomfield has notified you that they do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it (Click here for more information).

Whilst your debit/credit card will, therefore, be debited before the contract is formed, if your order is rejected, a full refund will be made immediately.
If for some reason you do not receive an email confirmation receipt of your order, yet your credit/debit card has been debited, please notify Jonathan Broomfield without delay.

Pricing includes VAT (where applicable) at the current rate. Prices may be updated periodically, and this may affect orders already in the system. If so, Jonathan Broomfield will inform you of the revised price before dispatching your order; you may then choose to accept or decline the order.

Personal and credit/debit card details supplied by you must be correct and valid. You must also be authorised to use the payment method.

Payment is carried out through secure gateways using SSL via WIX Payments or PayPal. They are both established companies that accept all major credit and debit cards. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Whilst Jonathan Broomfield tries to ensure that all prices on their website are accurate, errors may occur. If they discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, they will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If they are unable to contact you, they will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances a replacement cheese of equal quality and/or value will be used in your order. Jonathan Broomfield will inform you about the replacement and seek acceptance from you. 

All cut & pieced cheeses are cut fresh by hand so variations will occur. Whole cheeses which are made by hand may vary in either or all of the following: size, colour, and weight. Where a weight is specified, these are listed as approximate. Cheeses may weigh differently but Jonathan Broomfield will try to ensure the total weight of the order overall is adhered to.
